Andrea Barron

Andrea Barron is Program Manager for International Affairs at The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars, where she manages professional training opportunities for college students and directs two seminars: Camp David III—-Negotiating the Road to Israeli-Palestinian Peace and International Conflicts: Iraq, Darfur and US-Cuban Relations. She is an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, the University of the District of Columbia and The Washington Center, teaching classes on Human Rights, Third World Women, US Foreign Policy and the Arab-Israeli Conflict. Andrea has published articles on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Palestinian and Tunisian Women, US Policy in the Arab and Muslim World, and Gender and Development in academic journals, newspapers, and online magazines. She contributes regularly to Monday Developments, published by InterAction-the American Council for Voluntary International Action.
