Damanga Condemns Amman Bombings

November 15, 2005

The Damanga Coalition for Freedom and Democracy condemns the November 9th terrorist bombings in Amman, Jordon. The murder of innocent civilians in the name of Islam is disgraceful, and the slaughter at a wedding, a reaffirmation of life, is an attack against humanity. In Jordan, as in Darfur, Islamist radicals are exploiting our religion to kill fellow Muslims in an attempt to advance their extremist agenda. Unfortunately the Sudanese leadership under President Bashir ruling party, the National Congress, which formally sheltered Osama Bin-Laden, continues to support extremist terrorist groups. The people of Jordan, Sudan, and across the world deserve the protection and support of the international community against terrorism regardless of religion, race, or nationality.
