Action Update: Divestment in Virginia

In partnership with the Sudan Divestment Taskforce, Damanga worked hard to support legislation that would have prevented Virginians' money from being invested in companies who support the genocidal regime in Sudan. Although this measure passed in the State Senate, it did not pass in the House of Delegates.  We are now working on federal legislation, however, that will support divestment across the nation.
