An attack on a truck killed six people on Friday night. According to two students and a member of the Sudanese army, all of whom witnessed the attack, the vehicle was making its way from Al-Geneina to the town of Mastery, about 50km to the south, when it was attacked by an unspecified number of Janjaweed militia members. Among the victims were two teachers, three students, and one government soldier, all of whom were catching a ride.
The same sources witnessed an additional attack on a car on the road between Al-Geneina and Habeela on Saturday around 12 noon. Seven civilians were killed.
