Dialogue with the President's Special Envoy to Sudan, General Scott J. Gration. August 11 at 12:00.
at Jackson Room, WHCC- White House Conferences Center.
 
The meeting included Darfuri Activists along with South and other parts of Sudan.
It was a very direct, heated dialogue, but it was also very frank and open and serious.
General Gration responded to all the questions directed to him with patience and admitted that there are huge challenges ahead that need intense work. He is concerned that people were confused by what he said in his testimonies before the Hearings of the Foreign Committee at the end of July 2009. He reiterated his commitment to Darfur as well as South Sudan and the whole country. He strongly defended himself and stated that he never ever asked for lifting sanctions from Sudan's regime, or normalizing the relationships with US without full implementation of CPA, and resolving the Darfur conflict. General Gration also offered to work with all partners and stick holders and concerned NGO's to achieve a lasting peace and Freedom for all.

-The Dialogue also covered the urgent needs for the Foreign Humanitarian organization to get back to Darfur.
-Working on multinational peace keeping Forces.
-Security, sustainability, developments and rebuilding Darfuri villages to get them back when peace deal reached.
- Stop the war between Chad and Sudan is also in his agenda.
- Encourage future peace negotiations between all Worriers..

Finally, General Gration has emphasized that Al-bashir has to be held  accountable as well as those who committed crimes against humanity. He will continue to work with all to end all the crisis in Sudan.
