The Commemoration was held on Yom Hashoah, the Day of Remembrance of the six-million who died, and paid tribute to victims as well as to survivors who convey tremendous courage in remembering and in helping us to remember.
Mohamed Yahya, a refugee from the Darfur region of Sudan and founder and executive director of the Damanga Coalition for Freedom and Democracy, walso spoke.
