Press Conference highlighting China's human rights policies as the Olympics Approach


On Thursday, May 1 at 11:00AM, Senator Sam Brownback (R-KS) and Rep. Frank Wolf (R-Va.) will host a press conference featuring a variety of constituency and activist groups concerned about China's human rights policies. There is long speaking program scheduled with remarks delivered by members of the House and Senate, in addition to representatives from: Save Darfur Coalition; North Korean defectors; Chinese dissident; Campaign for a Free Tibet; U.S. Campaign for Burma; Reporters without Borders; Amnesty International; and Human Rights First.

We are looking for a dozen or so activists and Darfuris to come out, wearing Save Darfur shirts and hats, to be part of the crowd for this event.
